In an interview with Lucky Magazine, Beyoncé’s singer sister, Solange glosses over the infamous elevator fight with brother-in-law Jay Z. She called the shocking showdown “that thing.” 

“What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”

Is Solange Knowles Engaged? A new report claims Beyonce's younger sister Solange is engaged to her 51 year-old boyfriend Alan Ferguson. Ferguson was at the family lunch with Solange's son, Beyonce and Jay Z after the elevator fight last month [see pics].

Solange Knowles, 28, and Alan Ferguson whom she has been dating for five years, reportedly got engaged on her birthday Monday June 23, according to MediaTakeOut.

Solange has not confirmed the reports but she posted the photo below of herself and Alan on her instagram page describing her birthday as 'perfect.'.

In the video obtained by TMZ, Jay Z, Solange, and Beyoncé are all packed in the elevator along with what looks to be a security guard at the Standard Hotel in NYC, and are all still dressed in their formal wear. In the video, Solange begins kicking and hitting Jay repeatedly, while he backs up towards one side of the elevator.
